In addition to submitting your filings in XBRL, the SEC has mandated that a company provide these same XBRL files – both the raw file and the accompanying instance documents – on your corporate website for at least 12 months.
If your corporate website is not in compliance, we urge you to contact us ASAP. This is especially important for OTC Markets-listed companies, as they are the group required to file and post XBRL.
We offer two solutions for compliance with this regulation: a simplified “XBRL Widget” and a more in-depth “best practices’ shareholder communications service – a comprehensive investor relations website.

It’s important to note that you cannot simply link to the SEC.gov site, as many corporate issuers have previously done for “traditional” EDGAR files. In order to comply with this regulation, the actual files must reside on your server or the server of appointed provider, such as Vintage Filings.
